Our Story
It all started in a small garage in the suburbs of London, where two friends with a passion for technology and gaming started tinkering with ways to translate the fun and excitement of their favorite video games into the real world. Armed with vision, ambition, and a whole lot of duct tape, they created the very first X Shot blaster prototype.
After months of perfecting the design and function, they emerged with a toy blaster that could actually shoot soft darts up to 90 feet! They took their creation to local parks and hosted simulated battles with friends. Word spread quickly about these awesome new “toy guns” that brought video game-style action into the real world.
Before they knew it, neighbors and friends were knocking on their door asking to buy blasters for their kids. Seeing the huge demand, the friends knew they were onto something big. So they sold their cars, maxed out their credit cards, and put everything into founding X Shot® Guns to make their innovative toy blasters available to the wider world.
Growth & Evolution
Since those humble beginnings in a suburban garage, X Shot® has revolutionized the toy blaster market and changed the way people play and connect. We’ve grown from two friends tinkering with prototypes to a leading toy company with hundreds of employees. From those first duct-taped prototypes to our new Gel Blaster series that shoots vibrantly colored gel beads – our evolution over the years has been staggering.
